HOG ROAST 2023 SCHEDULE:
Get your 2023 Calendars out and mark these days:
Saturday April 15, 2023 – Grounds are open and available for campers – the
beer will be cold.
Wednesday April 19,2023, we will begin serving chow with the evening meal.
Saturday April 22,2023 Roasted Hog Dinner – Raffles pulled.
Similar to what our Northern Brothers did this year, we plan to begin
serving chow midweek. Those who come earlier are most welcome but will be on
your own for feeding arrangements.
The galley will be open for use to prepare your own food we just do not plan
to provide and cook for a largely indeterminate number of people during the
There are several tasks that make events like this successful, and we rely on
those who can and will step up. If you have a role in mind you’d like to
fulfill, please contact Buddha and sign up. If you do not have
a specific task in mind and are willing – please contact Buddha to let him
know what effort and time you can volunteer.
Finally, finding campers for accommodations has become exceedingly difficult
– if you have a line on campers we might rent or even better borrow please
let Buddha know.
We have found that Joint Base Charleston has a few campers available. If you
can line one of these, we will assist in towing it to and from the After
